Hi, I’m
ROCCO!
My name is Rocco, or Roccito Burrito, or Rocco Paco—we do a lot of nicknames around here!—and my POOCH team think I’m one of the best boys that ever was! I was a favorite at the Marion County Shelter and was there for a few months, but no one was interested in me. So I got to come to POOCH and learn lots of things and make new friends. Now it’s time for me to find my forever family. Is it yours?
More about ROCCO
Rocco is a boisterous, big, fun guy. He enjoys playing with his buddies and is working on the rules of fetch! Sometimes he gets bamboozled when the ball doesn’t end up where he expects, but he is always having fun. Just make sure his toys can keep up with him, as he is a heavy chewer. This handsome pup is possibly a Catahoula mix, and boy is he BEEFY! We are working on his leash manners, as well as basic obedience. With his food motivation, he is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks up tricks in no time and loves to show them off.
Rocco was underweight when he came to us and we have been working to help him get to his goal weight.
