Kona (Tonka)

Kona (previously Tonka)

Adoptable Dogs | Young (2 yrs or less) | Male | Large (61-100 lbs) | NO SMALL CHILDREN

Hi! My name is Kona now! I used to be called Tonka. I’m a two-year-old Lab mix. What am I mixed with, you ask? Your guess is as good as mine! Some of the staff guesses are golden retriever, Belgian Malinois, Shepherd… you name it, they’ve guessed it!  I was found as a stray in Marion County, so while they might not know much about my history, they do know this. I’m affectionate and energetic and love to be around people!  Anything I can do with my youth handler is the best adventure, but my favorite is taking long walks around the campus. I do know how to relax when everyone else is chill. I would be a great hiking or camping buddy! I like the other dogs here at the kennel as long as we’re properly introduced. I did go home with a family but I was more energetic than their small kid could handle so I would be best fit for a family with older or no kids).

Looking for someone to keep you company? Me too! Call the kennel at (503) 981-2570 to find out how to meet me!
